Philips High School is a co-educational 11-16 comprehensive school of over 860 pupils. The school is designated as six-form entry. The admission limit for new pupils to join the school in September 2009 is 176. The School’s philosophy is founded on a belief in respect, traditional values, courtesy, self-discipline, hard work and the rewarding of excellence. Expectations are high; pupils and teachers’ work together in a secure atmosphere, which is caring, stimulating, demanding and enjoyable.
